Eine durchdachte Festivalstrategie ist unabdingbar, um den eigenen Film bestmöglich zu präsentieren. Zudem bieten Festivalmärkte zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, Geldgeber und Koproduktionspartner für das nächste Projekt zu finden.
Dieses Kompakt-Seminar widmet sich der Berlinale und dem Cannes Filmfestival.
Den Teilnehmenden werden die wichtigsten Informationen über diese beiden weltbekannten Festivals vermittelt, um eine Einreichung, die eigene Vorführung oder den Marktbesuch bestmöglich effektiv vorzubereiten:
- Profil und Ziel der Festivals
- Insights zu Kuratierung und Programmierung
- Bedingungen und Vorgaben der Festivals
- Bestmögliche Nutzung des Festivalbesuchs und Marktbesuchs (auch ohne Film)
- Benötigtes Material zur Bewerbung und Vermarktung eines eingeladenen Films
- Insider-Informationen und Festival-Hacks
Die bekannte und grundlegende FIAPF A-Festival-Liste sowie die Festivalliste der FFA wurde kürzlich aktualisiert. Die Teilnehmenden erfahren die Änderungen und deren Auswirkungen auf den globalen Festivalcircuit und was dies für die kommerzielle Auswertung ihrer Werke in den nächsten Jahren und die Finanzierung der kommenden Projekte bedeutet.
Das Seminar richtet sich an fortgeschrittene Filmschaffende, die mit einem Langfilm eine Festivalauswertung anstreben und auf Festivalmärkten zukünftige Koproduktionen initiieren möchten.
SEMINAR LEADERSHIP
NIKOLAJ NIKITIN
ist ein international etablierter Filmkurator, Dozent und Medienexperte. Derzeit ist er künstlerischer Leiter des Film Festivals Palic und Kurator des Tallinn Black Nights A-Festivals in Tallinn. Von 2002-2019 war Nikitin Delegierter der Berlinale.
