The Vereinigung der hessischen Filmwirtschaft (Association of the Hessian Film Industry) is committed to innovation, excellence and sustainability of the film and media industry in Hessen (website in German only).

The Junge Generation Hessischer Film is a network in the association of Initiative Hessen Film and advocates for a better start in the industry for young filmmakers.

 

The HessenFilm und Medien GmbH organizes at irregular intervals jour fixe events and industry pitches (website in German). At the industry pitch organized by the film Commission, production companies, freelancers and service providers can present themselves and their work.

 

The Initiative Hessen Film consists of representatives from AG DOK, the Filmhaus Frankfurt, the Film- und Kinobüro Hessen (website in German only) as well as the Vereinigung der hessischen Filmwirtschaft and keeps an eye on the filming structures of the local film subsidy HessenFilm und Medien GmbH (website in German only). In addition, the Initiative Hessen Film sends a representative to the supervisory board of HessenFilm und Medien GmbH.

Under the motto "Gewachsene Erfahrung trifft auf neue Ideen" (Grown experience meets new ideas) cultural and media professionals meet online via Zoom in the "Medienforum" network to exchange ideas and experiences. There is currently a Facebook page "Medienforum" at www.facebook.com/groups/Medienforum. The website www.medienforum.online will be activated soon, both require a registration by name.

The Networking Meet of the Frankfurt Film Festival is organized irregularly by the Cultural Office of the City of Frankfurt. Further information about the Frankfurt Film Festivals and Events can be found here.

 

BFFS organizes a monthly BFFS Stammtisch (website in German only) in Frankfurt for all film and TV actors of the Bundesverband Schauspiel Bühne Film Fernsehen Sprache.

 

Every 2 months on the last Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. Hesse's young filmmakers meet at the (virtual) Film & Media Meetup (linked page in German only).

Crew United considers itself a platform for the professional film and television industry.

Cinando is a database for the international film industry and thus offers a good overview of the film industry.

Production Paradise is an international network especially for creative professionals in the field of advertising and image film, digital image editing and photography.
