Location scouts

To find the right location for your shoot, the professional "film eye" of a location scout is indispensable. They know almost every nook and cranny of the city and, on behalf of a film production or a photographer, locate specific motifs or filming locations both indoors and outdoors.

In Frankfurt, different locations scouts are at your disposal. They are also the people to contact when visiting production companies are looking for temporary office space.

Event locations

Frankfurt is one of the most important conference and event locations in Germany and Europe. And not only because of its central location. The city also offers a wide range of creative opportunities to meet and exchange ideas. Use these resources to find suitable locations, whether for large gala evenings, wild after-show parties or small events with an exclusive character.

Properties owned by the city

The City Marketing Department has set up the Film Advisory Office, a service center for filmmakers with the aim of making Frankfurt am Main more attractive as a location for film and television productions.

The advisory office supports the work of film productions and filmmakers, assists in the search for filming locations owned by the city, and mediates between filmmakers and the city administration. It organizes a round table with filmmakers and municipal institutions on the subject of filming in Frankfurt am Main, offers location tours for Frankfurt film festivals and initiates and supports screenings, premieres and on-set visits for films that feature the city's locations.
